Synopsis
Reconstruction of lost bone in the maxilla and mandible is a continual challenge for oral and maxillofaical surgeons. Today, grafting of small and even large defects is predictable with various bone graft techniques using autogehnous bone and/or growth factors such as rhBMP, PRP, and other wound healing adjuncts.
