    Synopsis

    The course will provide a comprehensive, contemporary and practical review of orbital trauma management. Evaluation and current considerations in timing of repair will be supported with contemporary literature. Practical principles of surgical management will be highlighted to address the challenge of restoring orbital volume, globe motility and the avoidance of complications.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Describe the physical and CT findings associated with isolated orbital trauma in children and in adults.
    2. Describe the management of common globe injuries in orbital fracture repair.
    3. Discuss surgical principles in managing clinicially evident enophthalmos and persistent resticted globe motility.
