A review of airway compromise in the neonate, which will lead into treatment options and surgical intervention. The main focus of the discussion will be on the pros and cons of neonatal mandibular distraction.

1. Describe the anatomic concerns of micrognathia on the neonatal airway.
2. Describe surgical techniques and treatment variations associated with airway compromise of the neonate with micrognathia (such as intubation, tracheotomy, and particularly mandibular distraction).
