Synopsis
Treatment of the patient with obstructive sleep apnea should be logically sequenced, value-driven and based on evidence available in the medical literature. This session will present a number of complex cases and describe the medical and surgical treatment plans utilized, with an emphasis on an evidence-based approach.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss the spectrum of both surgical and non-surgical treatments available to the patient suffering from OSA.
- Describe the evidence available in the medical or surgical literature to support both treatments the OMS may offer, such as MMA, as well as treatments available from other providers.
