    Synopsis

There are numerous patients in need of dental implant therapy who desire an immediate fixed solution. This session reviews the steps for performing this procedure in one day. These steps include the diagnostic studies, extractions, placement of implants and delivery of the fixed immediate prosthesis.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Describe the principles of immediate loading of implants with prosthetic rehabilitation including the fabrication and insertion of the fixed prosthesis.
    2. Identify patients who are candidates for having a fixed prosthesis delivered at the time of implant placement.
    3. Create an awareness of the relevant scientific evidence for immediate load with a full-arch fixed prosthesis.
