Synopsis
Perioperative management of patients with respiratiory complications, including asthma, negative pressure pulmonary edema, and methhemoglobinemia, will be discussed.

- Discuss the perioperative risks of asthmatics in office anesthesia and evaluate this disease preoperatively.
- Discuss the management of both minor exacerbations of the disease and severe episodes in the office.
