This fast-paced program meets mandatory OSHA bloodborne pathogen training requirements and familiarizes the participant with the basic elements of an OSHA safety program. The interactive setting allows participants to design a “personalized” OSHA safety plan, understand how to conduct an OSHA inspection, and organize and present an office OSHA/Safety meeting.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Discuss the basic elements of a bloodborne pathogen program.
    2. Explain how to set up an OSHA safety program, utilize an OSHA manual and personalize written safety plans to meet OSHA requirements.
    3. Explain how to prevent exposure incidents. Establish a plan to manage exposure incidents. Identify hazards in the dental office.
