    Synopsis

    Employee claims are one of the faster growing areas of legal disputes in the ambulatory surgical office. Having fundamental understanding of the legal requirements and acceptable management is essential to avoiding lawsuits and labor board claims. This program will review the law, provide guidance and tips on staff management, protocols for claims avoidance and installation of protective policies.

    1. Install protective protocols that instruct on staff hiring, termination, and management policies.
    2. Install policies and implement documentation programs to prevent or confront issues of discrimination and harassment.
