    Synopsis

The opportunities and risks of practice expansion have never been greater. Selecting the perfect location is a coordination of demographics (potential patients), geographics (accessibility and parking), and a combination of referral base/competition analysis. This course provides a rational method to analyze these variables to determine and evaluate the best place to practice to better meet the needs of patients.

    Learning Objectives
    1. Discuss essentials of OMS site selection, including OMS demographics, geographics, and psychographics.
    2. Discuss an overview of the issues: the fundamental shifts in American lifestyles, the technical aspects of demography and new target markets in dentistry.
    3. Understand advance OMS site selection criteria: referral base, competition and community potential.
